Southington Care Center Residents Welcome Pet Visitor

Southington Care Center residents received a special visit from Doug, a llama from the Country Quilt Llama Farm in Cornwall.  The visit was made possible by the Jane Haze Memorial Pet Therapy Fund and Southington Care Center Resident Council Fund.  Pictured is resident Jean Kemble who explained, ”There was one lady who lived here who never smiled but came to see the llama.  As soon as she saw him, she had a big beautiful smile!  She wouldn’t smile at me, but she smiled at the llama.”
