Volunteer Opportunities
Your talents are needed! An hour a week is all it takes to make a difference in our resident’s lives! The following are just a few of the volunteer positions that we have available:
-Recreation Helper: Assist the recreation staff with programming needs on Tuesday and/or Thursday mornings from 9-11:00am.
-Concierge greeter: Welcome residents to Southington Care Center with a bag of goodies. Assembling the bags, delivering bags and bringing a warm greeting are all part of this job. Days flexible but a weekly commitment is needed.
-Garden helper: Assistance is needed to keep our beautiful grounds looking their best. Weekly assistance watering plants, weeding, and filling feeders.Days/times flexible.
-Clerical Volunteers: Southington Care Center needs volunteers with clerical experience. Volunteers will be maintaining the front desk and must feel comfortable answering calls and other clerical duties. Hours needed are weekdays between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
