Leave a Legacy

Southington Care Center specializes in providing short-term rehabilitation and long-term care to primarily seniors in need of our services. Since our opening in 1990, we have served our clients with a high level of satisfaction and positive results.

Our society is enjoying longevity never anticipated by past generations. This reality presents both opportunities and challenges. Southington Care Center, along with our sister communities, is embarking on several new initiatives that will help us to meet these challenges and make sure that we are here to help you and others enjoy healthier and happier golden years. In order to do this, we need your help.

As a non-profit organization we are asking for your support for some new initiatives currently planned for the coming year. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Your tax-deductible donation may be used to support the following programs:

  • Purchase of exercise equipment specifically designed for seniors to be used as part of our new Senior FITness initiative
  • Purchase of resource materials for out new CT Center for Healthy Aging, a resource and assessment center designed to enhance quality of life for all seniors and their caregivers
  • Support for assessment tools and case management services that will help older adults remain in the least restrictive most independent environment possible
  • Development of end of life training programs and tools that will help to enhance the last days of a person's life involving families and caregivers in the process
  • Additional training and programming for Alzheimer's and dementia related illnesses including the continued development of holistic interventions

Thank you so very much for your support and consideration.  Please contact our Director of Community Resources, Lisa Crofton if you have any questions.
